No Chipped China Storage

If you want the good China to stay the "good" China, proper storage is essential (or at least utmost care in handling it).

Stores sell China storage sets. For instance, Organize-Everything sells China Plate Storage keepers with quilted sides that provide cushion. You load the China through the top opening and then zip the keeper closed. The different size China keepers hold full-size dinner plates, saucers, salad plates and dessert plates.

You also can get China keepers or separates for storing items like serving platters. Usually these China keepers that hold multiple stacks of China have foam dividers to keep the dishes separated and safe from bumping each other.

	You also might like to store your China in chests with dividers (pictured left). For instance, this Cup Chest Storage Box from Organize-Everything holds 12 cups. Its made of cotton canvas. Different size China storage chests also can hold stemware, saucers, salad plates and more. Each category goes in a different China storage box. You can then stack the China storage chests on top of each other in your cabinet to save storage space. The side handles make them easy to maneuver in and out of the cabinet. Some China storage sets, like the ones with the quilted sides at the top of the page, have see-through windows or labels/content cards on the outside of each keeper. This is good if you have more than one set of China. Make sure you buy a China storage set of keepers large enough for your number of place settings.
