Never leave a
room empty-handed when it contains items that need to go elsewhere. For
instance, collect towels from the bathroom that need to go to the laundry
room. While in the laundry room, grab clean shirts that need to go back to
the bedrooom closet. And so forth. Make it a habit to do tasks like this
when you walk through your home and you'll save trips and time you would
have spent doing them later.
