♦Store extra rolls of
toilet tissue in a basket
or container on top of the toilet tank.
♦Hang a plastic shoe bag on a
hook on the back of the door. Stuff the bag pockets with rolled spare bath and
hand towels and wash rags.
♦Organize drawers by categories
such as one for cosmetics and one for small appliances like blow dryers and
curling irons.
♦Make use of that space over the sink faucets with a custom
organizer shelf like this one from Collection's Etc. (approx. $15):
♦Don't store anything loose in the cabinet under the sink. Use
plastic bins. Use an oval or rectangular bin with a handle for cleaning products. Use a
basket or bin for extra shampoo, hair conditioner, brushes, etc. Use another bin
or container for alcohol, peroxide, bandages and like items. When everything is
in a bin, it's easy to pull out and locate and it's easy to keep the closet base
clean. And a plastic bin will wipe clean easily if any products leak inside it.
♦If you need extra storage space, go vertical and slim such as
with this
Bathroom Tower with Fluted Door
sold by Stacks and Stacks:
♦Remove anything from the bathroom that's not used in the
bathroom. It doesn't belong there and causes you to waste precious time sorting
through it to find what you need to get dressed in the morning.
