Keep a small
notepad and pencil in your glove compartment. use it to write routine
maintenance notes, such as air filter model numbers, and "due" or "last
completed" dates, such as when you last changed the air filter or oil or
replaced a flat tire. Do this even if you keep car maintenance receipts.
Consider this a summary sheet or car maintenance log. It's a lot easier to
read this one list than flip through all of your old car repair and service
receipts and vehicle manuals to find the information you need.
