♦If you
use big bags of fertilizers, seeds, mulch and more, you probably sometimes dump
them into a spreader. But first you lug them around by hand--unless you're lucky
enough to own a lawn dolly or garden cart. But even
if you own a cart to tote them on, you probably only own one cart, which means
you can only move so many bags at a time and you still have to lug them on and
off the cart.
♦ An easier way to maneuver, as well as store and organize
these bags of gardening supplies in your garage or shed, is to use small, medium
and large size plastic pet food storage containers that are already on wheels
(sometimes called casters). Put the whole bag in the container or dump the
contents of the bag into the container, depending on your preferences and how
it's best stored. The one below is
Iris Container
sold by
Stacks and Stacks:

♦Put
a scoop in each container.
♦Label the
outside of the container so you know what's in it, or what goes in it once it's
empty and ready for a refill.
♦Now you
can wheel these heavy bags of gardening supplies to your porch or driveway where you're putting plants
into pots or around the garage to organize and store them. The contents stay dry
in the containers and you don't have those half open messy bags everywhere with
little spills next to them.
