♦Organize your pet supplies with a hanging plastic shoe bag or
Over-the-Door Pocket Organizer
. These have slots for your shoes. Put one dog or cat's leash and collar per
slot so you can see to grab it easily. Stuff brushes in another slot. Put nail
clippers or other grooming items in a separate slot.
♦Label the slots
if the bag isn't translucent.
♦Hang this in
your foyer closet or from an S-hook or clothes hanger from a shelf in the garage
or laundry room (wherever is most convenient for you).
♦Cluster cat furniture (including scratch pads) together in one section of your home; near a glass door or window is good. Cats
like to climb from one piece of furniture to another (preferably their own).
♦Small pet toys can go in one round bowl or basket on the floor.
Large pet toys like balls and Frisbees can go into a hamper or other cute
container designated for doggie toy storage.
♦Or organize your pet supplies and still keep them handy by
throwing leashes and big chew toys or rubber balls into a decorative storage
chest or trunk in your family room.
